Oregon is another weed friendly state that has legalized recreational marijuana since 2015. People can carry up to an ounce of weed and can also grow at the most 4 plants at home, indoors. In Oregon you can also gift people edibles as long as they are ingested in private. The legalization has caused some serious increase in tax revenue in the state of Oregon.
Massachusetts also recently passed its bill for the legalization of marijuana even though don’t expect retail shops at least till the mid of 2018. The law in the state allows a person to carry a little amount of weed and grow at the most 12 plants.
California will be the state that stands out in the list because densely populated state managed to legalize recreational marijuana, 20 years after it had legalized medical marijuana. You can be found with at the most an ounce of weed or else will be penalized and retail shops will start opening from the year, 2018 when the government hands out licenses.
